Our Team

Dr. Shonté Bishop joined the Forever Vets team as an Associate Veterinarian in June 2018. Dr. Bishop attended the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, where she completed her degree for Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Her interests include preventative medicine, Fear Free handling, and Dermatology. Dr. Bishop is a Florida native, being born and raised in the city of Miami, FL. Dr. Bishop attended the Florida State University for her undergraduate education, where she received a Bachelor degree in Biological Sciences with minors in Chemistry and Spanish. During her undergraduate time in Tallahassee, FL, she started as a volunteer in a local small animal hospital. With time she was eventually hired as a Kennel Technician and eventually a Veterinary Technician. She also spent time interning at a local zoo and the local animal shelter. In Dr. Bishop's free time, she enjoys spending time with her Husband, 2 dogs, and her cat. Her hobbies include baking, sewing, and drawing.
